I have not posted in quite a long time, so I ought to give my explanation. The past few months have been extremely hectic, but don't think that I did not prioritize this blog. VAEA is truly one of the best decisions I have made regarding hobbies and a passion I love to indulge in. Rather, I have been physically unable to post.
That sounds a bit dramatic; I was not injured in any way, just found myself preoccupied. I work at a ranch during the summer. The farm operates as an equestrian camp for young girls and I work as a counselor. The job is physically and emotionally demanding, but I really love it. There, we are unable to use internet service or have ay technology readily available. Working from 7:00AM until 10:00PM most nights, posting was not an option.
Along with this, as a senior in high school, university applications have taken a priority in my life. I do apologize for the lack of content, but know that I am back and ready to dive back into the field of anthropology. I have learned a lot this summer working directly with horses and children and have noticed many patterns in the work, and I can't wait to share this knowledge with you soon.
